One of the joys of baking beans is the bean pot! Made of earthenware, the body of the pot is wider than the mouth, making for less moisture evaporation during cooking. A variety of shapes are available but the basic design concept remains the same. They have side handles for lifting
and some have an additional longer handle. All are lidded. Not just for beans, legume-based soups cook nicely as well.
