I would love that Paula! Foods from other places fascinate me. I am from the south and did some research into the origins of "American" food. Many of the dishes I grew up with have English origins. Bread and rice pudding for example. I will send my address in a private message.

ill pop to the shops at lunch time. im the same, i love the new shop in milton keynes, im always in there buying all the american stuff. i tried dill pickles for the first time recently, they are so much nicer than gherkins and i ate the whole jar!

iv posted you a few things including the custard because they are yummy and i dont know if you get them over there. i sent them from my work (sshhh dont tell any one!) so i didnt even have to pay postage! Wink

security have just told me thet had to post foot mail because of the weight so will prob take a couple of weeks to get to you - or however long it takes to walk to america! Smile
