Well another Valentine's Day is almost here and Guido and I are still thousands of miles apart. But if he was here, this is what I would serve him. A big blanket covered with pillows on the floor in the living room...soft music playing, candles lit everywhere..Guido you choose the wine....

Roasted Red Pepper Soup
Shrimp Scampi
Capri salad
And for dessert.....
Valentine berry tarts

Ok this is my choice:
There is one keyword: Saffron. known as aphrodisiac, at least one recipe has it!

Option A
Saffron scallops
Grouper fillets au Grand Marnier
Penne with salmon and Vodka
Tiramisu (usefull for the post dinner *wink*)
Wine: Muller Thurgau

Option B (for the ones who dont like seafood)
Carpaccio Bresaola e rucola
if you can't find Bresaola you can switch to:
Prosciutto and Melon
Milanese Risotto
Veal lemon piccata
Red raspberry champagne granita
Wine: get down and dirty with the rest of the champagne you used for the granita Smile
