Oh I love shepards pie. I'll have to make one soon. Do you use lamb or beef?

i use beef, whole mushrooms and an onion, then topped with mash potato but i always leave the skin on and make patterns on the top with a fork. very traditional and basic but yummy! i use red wine and beef stock cubes for the gravy mixed in with the meat to make it a really thick gravy. nice with cornbread! Wink
