Hi Cyrilla, welcome and thanks for the posts!
Paula I bought some firm apricots recently and by the time they had ripened enough to eat, there was mold inside around the pit!
I took them back to the grocery for a refund.

yuk!! I brought some cherries (ok granted they were reduced because they were at their sell by date - but not use by date) and sat eating them at my desk at work. I wasnt looking what I was eating and I ate a mouldy one!!!!!!!!!!! gross!!
