Our product review moderator is going to be visiting us with her daughter, Keri. We are very excited on both ends. This will be Paula's first trip to the states and they will be staying with my daughter and myself. We have all sorts of fun things planned. We will try and keep a little diary of the trip and maybe post some pictures.

Yay i'm so excited!!! I can't wait to try American foods and see how big the portion sizes are Smile

The thought of real American cookies really in America is making my stomach rumble! Keri keeps asking when she can go and see "Cake" - her name for Kate because she has trouble pronouncing "T's". I really hope her passport hurrys up so i can book the tickets!

Portion sizes here can be pretty big! I think the british cookies you sent me are great! But we will make cookies and buy some too.
I love that Keri calls me that!

If you make a list of things you like, let me know and i'll bring some things over. I have 2 boxes of Earl Grey, some dolly mixture sweets and the hot chocolate Erica likes in a bag ready Smile

we're off to buy extra suitcases at the weekend, so i have a bag an extra bag to pack those kind of things in! I can't wait to spend time with you both! It's going to be so much fun. The passport agency are now saying Keri's passport is in processing! Woohoo!!

Paula, just a little info.
Do not bring to the US whatever contain any kind of meat.
I did not know that, and they seized (stole I would say) an half prosciutto, and 1/2 pound bresaola sigh!

Yes the took my prosciutto! Sniff. I had heard that if it was vacuum sealed you could bring it in. Cheeses are fine as long as they are vacuum sealed.

Thats so mean! Kate, you'll have to remind me which ones they were. I think i remember but i want to get the right ones. Did that second parcel ever show up? The one i posted at the same time as the golden syrup?

thats really irritating, i posted them both at the same time!! The list would be helpful, then they cant nick anything i try and bring over! Im still going to try and sneak some pork pies though Smile
