Why do I crave a fry up when I have a hang over? Is that normal??

I'm sat at my desk at work now, and all I can think about is going to the food van at the end of the road!

If anyone is in Milton Keynes today, please bring me an egg and mushroom baguette with brown sauce from Smithy's van!!! LOL

I dont know.. but when i have hangover i just want some hot black bitter espresso and a pain killer LOL!

You should get a jar of pickles, throw then away and drink the marinade.... Russian people says it's great cure for vodka hangover .... Shocked

Paula serves you right for getting tipsy. What's a fry up?

I've only had one hangover in my life and it was so bad that I haven't done it since!

In my defence, even those who didn't drink much were i'll so I think it might have been a combination of the food and the alcohol Very Happy

A Fry Up is another word for a Full English Breakfast - fried egg, bacon, sausages, beans, fried bread, toast, tomatoes, black pudding, hash browns and a big cuppa tea Smile I skip a lot of that and have bacon, scrambled egg, beans, toast and hash brown - with brown sauce and a coffee Very Happy for some reason, i always crave diet coke too!!

Just teasing Paula. The fact that you were hungry the next morning cancels out food poisoning.

I've had black pudding...no offense but...yuck.

Thats a big breakfast though. I could eat that at brunch and not be hungry the rest of the day.

I don't blame you. One bite and I couldn't swallow it.

We have something similar here in Italy, called sanguinaccio. It's a sweet cream or a spread, made with chocolate, and pig blood that gives a little acid backtaste.
It's usually served during the carnival, with savoiardi or frappe.
I had it two or three times and it's not bad at all.
But since 1992, sale of pig blood is forbidden in many regions of Italy so the sanguinaccio is something you do not see anymore around.
