That would make me crazy with the buses. Is there a train you can take?

no, to get a train, i'd need to get a bus to the city centre train station. The trains only go to other large towns/cities. I'm sure they designed Milton Keynes to be as awkward as possible when it comes to travelling!! You can't really live in Milton Keynes and have a job / go to the supermarket if you don't have a car.

You really are stuck then. Would be nice if the government rewarded the people that do work with gas vouchers instead of those that choose not to work.

An update on the veggies - we are being over-run by swede / rutabaga shoots!! I keep pulling them, but they keep on growing more and more!! The carrots seem to be doing well, the shoots are getting bigger and there are not too many of them! The broccoli shoots look exactly the same, the basil shoots look ecactly the same and there are still no strawberry shoots Sad I might have to cheat and buy a strawberry plant, and grow that a bit.

Kate,
the CEO of ENI, the biggest oil company in Italy said today that the raise of the oil price it YOUR fault.
According to him you need to stop driving that big SUV and buy a scooter!

Such an ass LOL

Paula did you use the whole packet of seeds? Basil grows rather slow and needs lots of heat and sun.

Hey if I win the lottery, i'm buying a hummer and a Bughetti Veyron, sod petrol prices, i'd be able to afford it!!!! Very Happy

Yeah, I did the whole pack of seeds, wasn't I supposed to????????? I did the whole pack for all of them! Basil is on top of my tumble dryer in the window. The room has a huge window - the whole of the main wall is a window and gets really hot in there during the day...
