To cook perfect link sausages without burning them, heat your skillet and add your sausage links. Pour a little water into the pan to come about half way up the sausage link. Cook the sausages, turning occasionaly until the water has evaporated and the links are nicely browned.

For perfect eggs over easy that don't need flipping, and thus no broken yolks: Use a covered skillet. Start the eggs as you normally would, but after cracking the eggs into the pan, season as usual and add a couple of tablespoons of water. Turn the heat down and cover the pan. Cook until the tops of the eggs are white. Watch these closely to avoid overcooking the yolks.
