Ahhh Paula a po boy (poor boy) is a sandwich that has it's roots in Louisiana. It was considered cheap food. Some bars had a sandwich counter and basically you could put whatever was there on a roll for one price. Guess I'll have to post some recipes. My favorite is a fried shrimp po boy with coleslaw, onions and tomatoes.

I'm Irish and eat potatoes with just about everything, even I've never put them in a sandwich LOL
Although my uncle loves a ham and potato salad sandwich, never been too keen on the idea myself.

I know Karen. I have to be in the mood for potatoes on a sandwich. But sometimes it's really good!

warm mash potatoes on bread with real butter. the potatoes have to be warm so that the butter on the bread melts. yum!!!!!
it was a studenty thing though. I haven't done it since i left university! I did do it a lot before uni tho too. But sandwichaes are great, whatever is in them! I craved sandwiches for ages when i was first pregnant with Keri!

I love sandwiches too. In Italy they have little sandwich bars. They sell the sandwiches by the half, although the half's are large. They are beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Turkey with artichoke hearts and provolone, a little lettuce and mayo. I couldn't believe how delicious such simple ingredients could be. That's the result of the best and freshest ingredients.

My cravings were dead boring. All three pregnancies I craved milk, and with my middle daughter I went through a phase of pineapple ice-lollies.
I've never been much into breads and sandwiches. I love Irish potato bread, but it's not really a sandwich type of bread.

I craved corn on the cob, tomatoes and red onions when I was pregnant with Erica. Good thing I was pregnant in the summer!
