|
|
I was watching UKTV Food tonight, and they made an Italian cake called (something like) Torta Caprisse (i think). It was a flourless cake with grated chocolate, loads of ground almonds, eggs, vanilla extract and other things. I got distracted by an email! The Caprisse (if i have the word right) is a place in Italy (sorry Guido if i got the name totally wrong!!), and the cake looked really nice. Would either Kate or Guido have any idea what im talking about and have a recipe at all?
Also, if anyone has any requests for some traditional English recipes, let me know and i'll try my best at finding them! |

I got it!
It's "Torta Caprese". Originated in Capri Island.
I have a recipe and it's not really hard to make.
Why i didn't post it already? maybe because it has anise liquor in it which I cant stand LOL!
I will translate and post it.
