Maybe that's why i do not like Chinese food.

A recent search has found that the typical Chinese restaurant menu is a sea of nutritional no-nos, a consumer group has found. A plate of General Tso's chicken, for example, is loaded with about 40 percent more sodium and more than half the calories an average adult needs for an entire day.

The battered, fried chicken dish with vegetables has 1,300 calories, 3,200 milligrams of sodium and 11 grams of saturated fat.

That's before the rice (200 calories a cup). And after the egg rolls (200 calories and 400 milligrams of sodium).

Bingo!

I guess that's another reason you don't like chinese food....and I'm begining to see your point!
When I'm craving Chinese I usually go to Pick Up Stix. They have good food and post the calorie and sodium counts etc.

yum Smile

Im getting excited already (not just about the chinese food tho!!). I'm looking forward to tasting American foods from America! not the English imitations. Things seem so cheap over there too, I guess thats because of the exchange rate though.

Me too Paula, and I will cook you some real American regional foods. America is a melting pot of different types of cuisines, and each area has it's own, from Boston to the deep south.
