Celaeriac is wonderful in a gratin. I think the leeks and sweet potatoes, combined with the celaeriac would work well prepared this way. Make a nice bechamel, slice the vetetables (peel the celaeriac) thinly and layer them in a buttered casserole. Cover with the bechamel and bake until vegetables are tender. Top with buttered breadcrumbs if desired the last 10 minutes of baking (350F). _________________ A closed mouth gathers no feet. |

Does anyone have any child friendly chicken recipes? They need to be - made using chicken breast fillets, not fried, not spicy, not soup. I've had a look under the poultry section, but i don't think theres anything that Keri would really eat in there. I've brought loads of chicken breast fillets, and i think she's getting fed up with chicken with pasta, grilled chicken with potatoes and veg! She loves pineapple, if that can be incorporated, won't eat rice, loves sweet corn. Hope this helps! |

Paula, you have said Keri loves broccoli, make a stir fry of chicken and broccoli. Or cut the breast into bite sized squares and thread on wooden skewers with pineapple chunks. Brush with a little melted butter with a little bit of honey in it, sprinkle with salt and pepper and bake or broil them. Kids love finger foods. _________________ A closed mouth gathers no feet. |
