I read an article on Yahoo news last week, and it said that in the UK, the majority of under 30 year olds do not know how to cook a potato. I thought this was quite random because here, potatoes are the main staple food - more popular than rice and pasta by far. I'm 26, and have been living away from home since I was 18 and went away to university. I can cook mash, roasties, chips, crisps, boiled and jacket potatoes without even thinking about it. I was wondering, how many under 30s on here can or can't cook a potato? If you're over 30, do you know anyone under 30 who cannot cook a spud??

well i'm 22 and i know how to cook spud..

we got lot of it here in our place..

and we don't just cook it alone.. we mixed it with different dishes..
