It seems that 2008 passed in the blink of an eye, and here we are almost half way through January!

I'm busy planning my next trip to Italy in March. I can hardly wait to see my new niece, Aurora. She's almost 1 and a real character. I'll give Mom and Dad a rest while Guido is working and spoil the little princess.

And after a long and busy holiday, ready to post some new recipes I've been working on. More and more, people are looking for easy and fast to prepare meals for 1 or 2 people. I developed several over the past few weeks that I'm sure you will enjoy.

Ciao....Kate

when i was in canada i had something called perogies, they were lovely. i've managed to get hold of a recipe for them, so after i've tried it to make sure it works, ill post it for everyone to try. they were delicious, kinda like boiled samosas that were then fried with a potato filling (but not spicy, like samosas are).
