BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European Union rules limiting the sale of vitamins and mineral food supplements to an authorised list are valid, the EU's top court said on Tuesday. The ruling went against the opinion of the court's top legal adviser who supported makers of natural vitamins not included in the list in arguing that the legislation was deficient. "The court pointed out that certain restrictions can be justified by the protection of public health and considered the measures in question to be necessary and appropriate for the purpose of achieving that objective," the European Court of Justice said in a statement. _________________ In vino veritas!
