i looked on those sites. they are the only two i can find. but i've realised that wikipedia site is not very reliable. plus it doesn't actually talk much on greek yogurt and the other site is actually a company called the 'Greeks Yogurt', i was using it to do my research and got half way down the page before i realised!!

ok this is what I wrote about greek yogurt in my assignment:
| Quote: | | Traditional Greek Yogurt is a strained yogurt typically made with cow's milk or goat's milk. After researching further in to the history and origin of yogurt I have came to the conclusion that there is no exact knowledge of where Greek yogurt or even simply just yogurt originated. However, there is evidence that in the 2nd century AD many people immigrated to Europe. Some of these people were from middle Asia. As this journey was so long, the immigrants preserved their food for longer by carrying it in goats’ skin. This probably caused bacteria to breed on the inside of the skin creating thicker, almost curdled milk therefore leaving us with yogurt. |
almost finished assignment, just have to create and evaluate a few dishes |
