It's going to be a small and cozy Christmas again, my daughter and myself and perhaps a neighbor or two. I cook a special meal both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve
Glazed Ham
Scalloped potatoes
Raisin sauce
Glazed Carrots
Apple Pie
Spiced Cider

Christmas Day
Roasted Red Pepper Soup
Prime Rib (Guido's favorite!)
Horseradish sauce
Steakhouse Mashed
Peas with pearl onions
Rosemary and Garlic Bread
Creme Brule
Sparkling cider

Buon Natale!

both sound yum but id rather have kates, the thought of octopussy soup puts me off a bit. in england, christmas eve isnt really a special time so traditionally its a small meal in the evening. christmas day is always; smoked salmon for starter with a glass of champagne, then turkey with loads of stuffing, mash potatoes, roast potatoes, roast parsnip (yuk!), brussell sprouts (yuk), yorkshire puddings, broccoli, peas and carrots with gravy! yum! then christmas pud with brandy sauce for dessert.

It's not an octopuss soup, it's a salad Smile
made with boiled octopuss chunks, mussels, shrimps, celery, olives, with lemon, vinegar, and extra virgin olive oil.
Boiled octopuss is a delicious firm white meat and absolutely no fishy taste.
