This time i want to describe another classic north italian wine Bardolino Classico DOC Made in the Verona county, it a firm, or lightly sparkly red wine good with any dish, but perfect with poultry, or cheeses. It's a blend of the following grapes: corvina veronese (35%-65%) rondinella (10%-40%) molinara (10%-20%) negrara (0-10%) and sometimes depending of the winery, barbera and/or rossignola end/or sangiovese end/or garganega (0-10%) Aged from 1 to 3 years, color is from light ruby to dark cherry. In the mouth is dry, with a thin harmonic bitter ground. For best results must be served at 16°/18°C 61°/64°F Try it at a BBQ party and let us know! Guido _________________ In vino veritas!
