Guido has noticed that a lot of people are looking for brittle recipes without nuts. It's actually very easy, just leave the nuts out. But a peanut brittle recipe would be a bit thin without the nuts. I would use my recipe for Chocolate Nut Crunch and just omit the walnuts. It's a nice buttery toffee type of candy and I have made it without nuts. _________________ Life's short...eat dessert first. |

thats a good idea really, i always avoid brittle because i dont like the combination of flavours with the nuts, i didnt realise it could be made without them, thanks x _________________ I like cake. My oldest sisters kids didn't like nuts when they were younger, and they would pick them out of my Mom's peanut brittle. Mom started making batches just for them with no nuts and they loved it. _________________ Life's short...eat dessert first. |
