I am looking for a recipe for Chestnut and Mushroom Soup that doesn't include cream. I'm not too keen on cream, except when it is in coffee, but i love home made soups. Please help! I know chestnuts are out of season at the moment (June) but here in England we can buy chestnuts in a jar or a can. When my daughter was really tiny and only just weaning on to solids, she loved chestnut and mushroom soup. I would love to make it for her.
