I recently bought a yogurt machine. My daughter and I eat a lot of yogurt, Yoplait is our favorite, and I figured we were spending over $10.00 a week for it! I'm always money conscious and I think I made the right decision. My machine makes 6, 6 oz cups of yogurt which we then flavor to suit our taste. When I saw the list of ingredients on a cup of Yoplait I almost died. This morning I made some fresh peach, fresh blueberry and french vanilla. A little sugar and fresh fruit is all that's needed. I bought a bottle of french vanilla flavoring for my favorite flavor of yogurt and it tastes just like Yoplait's french vanilla.
It's very easy to use the machine and I figured that each container of yogurt costs about 20 cents. No cup to recycle and no added colors and other stuff.

Very healthy! Smile

Me and Keri love yoghurt, my favourite is vanilla. Keri has to have strawberry flavour, but doesn't like the bits - i buy her Munch Bunch yoghurts! She loves them Smile

Erica loved the fresh blueberry I made and the white peach. I made strawberry last time and it was sooo good. I love the vanilla also. I figure the maker has almost paid for itself. I forgot to hold some plain yogurt back though and flavored all six cups so have to buy plain yogurt again as a starter.
I bought the Deni 5600 1-Quart Electric Yogurt Maker through Amazon.

I can't seem to make it fast enough! I have to empty the jars into plastic containers and start another batch. I keep a little back for the next batch and then flavor the yogurt in the cups.
They stack neatly in the fridge for lunches and snacks.
