My Niece and her partner are selling their old house, so I thought I would lend a hand and post their webpage here. It's a beautiful house in a really nice part of San Leandro.

Hello friends:

Forgive the mass email. For those of you we may not have been in touch with in a while, it’s mostly because Andie and I bought a new house in the Oakland Hills and have been really busy with all that goes into the buying and the selling of houses (including moving 2 weeks ago) for most of the summer. Well, we’ve just listed our San Leandro House and this is a completely shameless plug for it and all it has to offer.

Anyway, we’re believers in the power of “putting it out there in the bubble”, so if anyone knows anyone in the bay area who is currently looking to buy a house, they should check ours out. Who knows? It just might fit the bill. The first open house is this Sunday 9/16 and below is a link to pictures and the house website. It’s a 2 bedroom 1 bath.

We love love love the San Leandro house. The only reason we moved was to get one more bathroom (given the motel 6 quality our house seems to take on with family and friends… all welcome of course!). We gutted to the studs and completely redid the kitchen with brand new everything (but all very fitting to the style of the house), new landscaping with automatic watering everywhere, new double paned windows, etc. There are some nice period details like picture molding, built-ins and a high beamed ceiling. The house is cozy in the winter with a gas fireplace, and a great space in the summer with a patio for BBQ’s and entertaining. All the closets are large and roomy with several of the walk in variety. It’s a 10 minute walk to bart for folks who work in the city ( my commute was literally 25 minutes door to door working in SF). We have fabulous neighbors and it’s a great neighborhood. Near the farmer’s market, an amazing local coffee house called Zocolo (with a place to let your kids play while you drink coffee and read the paper), and some great restaurants. So if you know anybody who might be looking… forward this along for them to check it out!
Thanks and Andie and I will be in touch soon with new address details, etc. Hope you are all well!
Jenn
