Introduction
After tasting some Jerk Chicken on a recent camping trip, I decided to try and make it myself. This is very spicy, so if you prefer less heat, cut out the chilli.
Ingredients
1 Red Chilli_pepper (seeded and chopped, wear gloves)
1/2 green_onion , diced
2 spring_onions, chipped thinly
6 cherry tomatoes , chopped
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp chicken seasoning (I used McCormick Simply Shake Special Blend for Chicken - contains salt , paprika , dried onion , black pepper , parsley , Cayenne Pepper)
1/2 tsp Season All (I used McCormick Simply Shake Special Blend Season All - contains Salt , Paprika , Chilli Pepper , Dried Onion , Black Pepper , Garlic Powder, Celery Seed, Nutmeg , Corriander Seed, Cayenne Pepper)
2 Tsp Jerk Seasoning (I used Asda Jerk Seasoning with sugar , Allspice and Celery Seeds)
Directions
Step: 1Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and rub all over your choice of meat or poultry . Allow to marinate in the fridge for 48 hours before cooking.
Step: 2Roast or grill your meat as desired.
