Introduction
I was looking for an orange drizzle cake recipe for our CEO's birthday cake. I could only find lemon drizzle cake recipes, and they all called for yellow cake mix. I had no idea what this was, so asked for help. This is the resulting recipe
Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine, softened,
2 cups sugar ,
4 eggs,
1 1/2 teaspoons orange extract,
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract ,
3 cups all-purpose flour ,
2 teaspoons baking powder,
1/2 teaspoon salt ,
1 cup milk,
1 tablespoon grated orange zest,

GLAZE:

1/4 cup orange juice,
1 tablespoon water,
1/2 teaspoon orange extract,
3/4 cup powdered_sugar

Directions
Step: 1In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Step: 2Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in extracts.
Step: 3Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in orange zest.
Step: 4Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (125c) for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Step: 5Cool for 10 minutes; invert onto a wire rack. Cool 10 minutes longer. Place rack on waxed paper.
Step: 6Combine glaze ingredients; drizzle over the warm cake. Cool completely before serving

I can't wait to make this Paula!
In case anyone is wondering why Paula didn't know what a yellow cake mix was, she said they don't have them in England. Betty Crocker are you listening?

Yummy. It's so tasty to read, it seems I am getting unusable. We'll have to devour the donut to recover. Thanks

Best regards, RcSt
