My Dad loved it.This is my version, I hope you like it. | | Ingredients | | 1 large bag frozen green beans 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2 cups sliced mushrooms 1 large can French’s Fried onion rings 1/2 soup can water 2 tbsp snipped chives 1 teasp parsley flakes ½ tsp garlic powder 1 teasp onion powder 1/8 tsp white pepper 1/2 tsp salt 1 teaspoon Maggi seasoning 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
| | Directions | | Step: 1 | In a large bowl mix seasoning, soup, water. Saute mushrooms in a little butter and add to the soup mixture. Add 1/2 can of the fried onions and the green beans and mix well. Pour into a greased casserole dish and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes, last 15 min of cooking, top with remaining onions |

In fact, the recipe for creating it celebrates its 50th anniversary this year....
