Margarita Sorbet

Introduction
This is a nice sorbet to serve between courses with a spicy dinner or as dessert after a mexican meal.
Ingredients

 


3 cups margarita mix  or your favorite commercial mix
1/4 cup triple sec
1 cup simple syrup
Juice of 2 limes
Pinch of sea_salt (less than 1/8 tsp)


 

Directions
Step: 1In a large glass measuring cup or bowl, combine margarita mix, salt, triple sec and simple syrup. Mix well to dissolve salt.

Pour mixture into the can of an ice cream freezer and process as usual.

Step: 2When sorbet is frozen. Pack as directed for your ice cream machine or pour into a container and place in freezer.
Serve scoops in margarita glasses and garnish with a lime slice and some lime zest..
