Introduction
These waffels will get everyone to the table in a hurry! My daughter and I make these for Christmas morning breakfast. Blueberries go great with these waffels, either as a topping or a few sprinkled on the batter along with the pecans.
Ingredients
2 cups all_purpose_flour
1 tablespoon baking_powder
2 Tbsp honey
1 teaspoon baking_soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup butter , melted
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions
Step: 1Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat eggs until light and pale lemon yellow. Add buttermilk and honey and mix well. Add dry ingredients and beat until batter is smooth.
Stir in butter. Pour about 3/4 cup batter onto a lightly greased preheated waffle iron. Sprinkle some pecans over batter. Bake waffles until steam stops rising from the waffel iron.
