Honey Dijon Vinaigrette | Status Approved | | Name | Honey Dijon Vinaigrette | | Category | Salads & Dressings | | Serves/Yields | About 1 cup | | Source | Kate | | Difficulty | Easy | | Prep. Time | 10 minutes | | Cook Time | 0 | | Introduction | | As with a lot of things I cook, I don't measure anything really, so this recipe is going to be a toss up.I think I have the proportions right. This dressing is really good , especially on a mixed vegetable salad with some diced chicken breast thrown in. I also use it as a cole slaw dressing at times. It keeps up to two weeks in the fridge. | | Ingredients | | 1/4 tsp sea_salt 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper 1/4 cup seasoned rice_vinegar 3 Tbsp honey 3 Tbsp dijon_mustard 1/8 tsp garlic_powder 1/2 cup extra_virgin_olive_oil
| | Directions | | Step: 1 | In a glass bowl, combine mustard, honey, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Stir until combined. Add rice vinegar and stir well.Pour olive oil in while whisking the mustard mixrure until oil is incorporated and dressing is slightly thick. You can adjust the amount of honey, mustard and vinegar to suit your particular taste. |
