When we were in florida we ate grouper at a pub it was unbelivable. I need a good recipe. help

Hello Dawn,

Here are 2 recipes for grouper that may be just what your are looking for. Grouper is also known as Rock Cod and is a very firm white fish with a mild flavor and lends itself to many different cooking methods. Check the fish and seafood section for other grouper recipes.

Ingredients

4 Grouper fillets (4-6 oz each)
1 tsp each:fresh Thyme ,Oregano ,Marjoram , and Parsley .
Extra virgin_olive_oil
1 clove garlic , minced
I medium onion , diced fine
Salt and pepper

Directions
Step: 1

Wash and mince the herbs and garlic. Combine the garlic and herbs in a bowl and set aside. Saute onion in 3 Tbsp of the olive oil in a heavy skillet until golden. Add grouper fillets and cook until tender and fish flakes easily, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle the minced herbs and garlic over the fish and cook for another 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste..Remove fish to a warm serving platter and garnish with lemon wedges
