I found this recipes on the Dallas Morning News website. It' my bread, so I think I can post it here ;-) Garlic bread is something we do not use often in Italy, but I can sign this recipe as "Approved" !! Guido
Ingredients
1 baguette
¼ cup dry red wine
¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
6 garlic cloves , thinly sliced
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh thyme leaves
Directions
Step: 1Preheat oven to 400 F. Slice the baguette lengthwise.
Brush both halves with the wine, then the olive oil and sprinkle with garlic and thyme. Put the halves in the oven, unwrapped, for 5 minutes. Remove and cut into 4-inch lengths. Serve warm with Italian sausage and sangiovese wine.
