Introduction

My daughter Erica is visiting me for Easter and has requested I bake a ham for dinner tomorrow. This is the glaze I usually make. This works well with jams such as apricot, peach or pear jam but the orange marmalade is our favorite.I like to cook a shank end ham and to help the glaze penetrate better I remove the rind and fat from the ham. Pat the ham dry and spread the glaze on.For best flavor let it sit overnight in the fridge before cooking.

Ingredients

1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup packed brown_sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup yellow prepared mustard
1 tsp grated ginger root

Directions
Step: 1In a saucepan over low heat melt the jam or marmalede. Add ginger, brown sugar, honey and mustard and cook until slightly thickened and brown sugar is completely dissolved, stirring constantly.
