Introduction
These are great with hamburgers or steak. They also make a nice hot appetizer to top with salsa, guacamole or whatever.
Ingredients

   
4 lg russet potatoe's
1/4 cup butter . melted
3 Tbsp olive_oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp onion_powder
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup finely shredded parmesan cheese

Directions
Step: 1

Melt butter in a shallow pan. Add seasonings and oil. Scrub potatoe's and slice lengthwise, approximately 1/2 inch thick.

Step: 2

Dip each potato slice in the butter mixture and place flat on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika if desired.

Step: 3Bake at 400F until potato slices are tender and golden brown, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle potato slices with the parmesan. and return to the oven just until the cheese is melted.
