It's a complete meal we usually prepare in the morning, and it's ready when you come back after a day at the beach. | | Ingredients | | 1 pound box Penne 1/2 pound canned cannellini_beans 1 pound canned tunafish in olive_oil . 2 anchovy_fillets, chopped 5 celery ribs finely chopped 1/2 red_onion finely chopped 1/2 cup extra_virgin_olive_oil Fresh ground black_pepper | | Directions | | Step: 1 | In a serving bowl, put the drained cannellini beans and tuna, the celery, the red onion, part of the oil. toss well and set aside Bring 6 quarts (5 1/2 L) water and 1 1/2 tablespoons coarse salt to a boil. Boil the pasta until al dente, according to package. Drain and cool with plenty of cold water to stop the cooking process. Drain again, and put into the serving bowl. Add the rest of the extra virgin olive oil and black pepper: toss well. Garnish with parmesan flakes before serving. |
