Introduction
This recipe was given to me by my friend "BD" and there great. My daughter loves  these for breakfast split and filled with scrambled eggs, and there great used as a sandwich roll.
Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
2 oz (about 1/2 cup) goarsly grated cheddar cheese
2 oz (about 1/2 cup) smoked ham , chopped
1 1/2 cups sour cream ,plus a little milk if sour cream is to thick but not to much. This dough should be very stiff.

Variations: I used packaged real bacon bits once instead of the ham and it was super.
1/4 cup finely minced onion is also great in these scones

Directions
Step: 1

Pre-heat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F).

Sift the flour and mustard into a mixing bowl.
Add the grated cheese and ham and mix well. Mix in enough sour cream
to make a stiff dough.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface.
Pat the dough into a rough square, about 1" thick.
Cut the dough into 1.5 " squares.
Place the scones onto a floured baking tray and bake them in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until they start to brown on the top. Serve warm with butter. Store leftovers in an airtight container. These freeze beautifully.
