Introduction
	When the weather is cold, this is an easy way to warm up your family and friends. I keep it warm in a crock pot on low. The scent is heavenly and really sets the mood for a Holiday party or tree trimming party. Offer rum for spiking if you wish.
Ingredients
	2 quarts apple_cider 1/4 cup sugar 10 whole cloves 5 whole allspice 4 cinnamon sticks (3" long) Peel from one orange (orange part only, no white) 1 orange, scrubbed and sliced 1 lemon scrubbed and sliced
Directions
Step: 1	Combine the cider, sugar, spices and peel in a large saucepan. Heat slowly to boiling. Boil 3-5 minutes. remove spices and peel. Place in a crock pot to keep warm. Set a bowl of lemon and orange slices and stand cinnamon stick up in a pretty container as garnishes. Offer Apple Jack or rum for spiking if desired.
