Introduction

I make my mint juleps right in the glass, which is the traditional way and I think the best. They can be made by the pitcher though with good results.

Ingredients

Cracked ice
Fresh mint leaves
Simple syrup
3 oz. Bourbon (kentucky bourbon!)

Directions
Step: 1

In a tall glass, muddle several mint leaves in simple syrup. let the muddled mixture sit  for a few minutes (preffered).
Fill the glass to the top with crushed ice and pour the bourbon through the ice.
Place a few mint sprigs on the rim of the glass. Top with a couple of teaspoons of simple syrup but don't stir.
