Introduction
This recipe came from my dear friend Elsie Hogue. Elsie told me that this salad has been a family favorite for years. That's Elsie on the  left with her dear friend Pat that came to visit.
Elsie passed away on December 24th 2006 in her sleep. She was 99 years old. I love you Elsie!
Ingredients

1 16-oz can cut green beans
1 16-oz can kidney beans
1 16-oz can wax beans
1 medium diced red bell  pepper
1 medium onion sliced into rings

Dressing
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Directions
Step: 1Drain the beans into a colander. Combine beans, bell pepper and onion in a large mixing bowl. Combine sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar. Mix well until sugar is dissolved. Add salad oil and pour over beans.Mix gently. Allow to sit at least several hours for the flavors to develop. This salad keeps very well.
