This tea is rich with the warm scent of vanilla. Garnish with an edible flower, put your feet up and enjoy .

Ingredients

1 quart (4 cups) cold  water
1 vanilla pod
4 Family sized tea bags

Directions
Step: 1Bring water to boil in a 4 quart pan
Split the vanilla bean and scrape out the seeds.
Step: 2Put seeds and pod in the boiling water. Turn heat down to a simmer and leave for 10 minutes. .
Step: 3Turn heat off. Add the tea bags and cover.Let the tea steep for 10 minutes.Add 1 quart cold water to the pot.Remove the tea bags and strain the tea through a coffee filter if desired.I usually just leave the seeds and pod in to further enhance the tea. I haven't tried Iced Tea since Liptonice was around in the 1980's! I was looking forward to trying this because i really like Vanilla, and i love tea :-)
I don't think it was the vanilla flavour that put me off, but i really wasn't that keen on this at all, sorry Kate :-( i think it might be because it was cold tea, and i never have tea cold. Not sure.
