Introduction
I love yorkshire puds, they make a roast dinner perfect! In England you can't have a proper sunday dinner without yorkshires in my opinion!
Ingredients

125g / 4oz sifted all purpose flour
A pinch of salt
1 egg
300ml / 1/2 pint milk
Vegetable oil (or to be traditional - melted dripping from your roast!)

Directions
Step: 1Make sure oven is hot, 220C / 475F/gas mark 8. Using a wooden spoon or a wire wisk, gradually beat the egg and milk into the flour and salt until you have a smooth batter. Beat well and leave the batter to stand while preparing the pan.
Step: 2Pour a little oil or dripping into each cup of a heavy gauge bun tin (muffin or popover pan), alternatively use a roasting tin for 1 large pudding. place in the hot oven to pre heat for 5 minutes.
Step: 3Beat the batter again, without allowing the oil to cool, pour the batter into the hot tins, half filling the cups.
Step: 4Bake for 12-20 minutes depending on the size - until puffed and golden. serve immediately.
