Introduction
My sister Carol and I love pickled eggs. I had this recipe from ages ago but there was something missing from it and I could't quite figure out what. This is my own version of pickled eggs and I think it's just perfect.
Ingredients
12 Eggs
4 Cups Distilled White Vinegar
6 Cloves of Garlic
1 Tablespoon of Whole White Peppercorns
1 Tablespoon Whole Allspice
Directions
Step: 1Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to the boil and let them cook for 10 minutes. Remove from the water and allow to cool. Peel the shell from the eggs.
Step: 2In a saucepan combine the Vinegar, Garlic, Peppercorns and Allspice. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Step: 3Place eggs in sterilised preserving jars. Pour vinegar mixture over the eggs , straining out spices if desired.
Step: 4Process jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Keep for at least a month before serving.
