Introduction
This is the most peculiar jam I have ever seen or tasted. It's really nice and very brown! I have also made this with Walnuts and had similarly excellent results.

Kate's Note: This is more of a conserve but sounds delicious.  I bet warmed and spooned over a slice of plain butter cake...yummmm!
Ingredients
1 Cup Chopped Pecans
1 Cup Granulated_ Sugar
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1 Pinch Salt
1 Tablespoon Ground Ginger
1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
1/4 Cup Butter
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
Directions
Step: 1Place all ingredients into a large saucepan. Cook over a medium heat until the butter and sugar have melted. DO NOT LET IT BOIL AS IT WILL TURN TO TOFFEE.
Step: 2Stir the mixture constantly until well blended.
Step: 3Pour into a sterilised jar and process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
