Introduction
I made these at school years ago and can't believe I still have the recipe! This is incredibly easy and a great yummy snack. Use low fat cheese for a low fat snack!
Ingredients
1 Cup Butter ,Softened
4 Cups Shredded Cheddar_Cheese
2 Cups All_purpose_flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
Directions
Step: 1Pre-heat oven to 200 C (400 F) and grease a cookie sheet
Step: 2In a large bowl cream together the butter and cheese. Stir in the flour and salt, mix well. I found it easier at this stage to mix it with my hands and make a ball with the dough.
Step: 3On a lightly floured surface roll the dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into 2 inch strips and place on the prepared cookie sheet 1 1/2 inches apart.
Step: 4Bake for 15 minutes or until crisp. Store baked sticks in an air tight container.
