Bowties with Mascarpone Sauce

Introduction
This dish is very simple but still very tasty. Tomatoes and mascarpone are a nice mix in this creamy sauce.
Ingredients
2/3 lb farfalle pasta (bowties)
1 (8oz)  can whole peeled tomatoes .
1 oz butter
1 Tbsp Extra_virgin_olive_oil
1 small white_onion , minced
3 oz mascarpone_cheese
4 or 5  basil leaves
Sea_salt
Freshly grated Parmigiano_Reggiano
Directions
Step: 1Put  tomatoes, minced onion, oil, butter,  basil in a saucepan and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
Blend everything with an immersion mixer ( or pour in a blender) and start adding the mascarpone cheese until perfectly incorporated. Adjust salt to taste.
Step: 2Meanwhile cook pasta al dente (according to package directions) in plenty of salted water.
Drain pasta, add sauce and serve with a generous sprinkle of parmigiano reggiano.
