| Introduction |
| I brought a whole side of salmon and had no idea what to do with it. I cut it up into individual steaks, and this was the first thing I made with it. This sandwich is really filling and great if you're wanting something different. |
| Ingredients |
| 1 Salmon Steak - Not too big as it has to fit in the sandwich 1 Individual Panini - I used a cheese Panini for extra flavour 5 Black_Olives , pitted 2 Tablespoons Sweet Corn (Corn) 1 Tablespoon Butter 2 garlic_cloves , smashed open to release the oils 2 Tablespoons Boursin_Cheese (cheese spread with garlic and herbs) - Roule would also work as well. 1 Tablespoon English_Mustard |
| Directions |
| Step: 1 | Wrap the salmon, olives and garlic in some tin foil (together) and bake in a pre-heated oven on 200 C for 20 minutes. |
| Step: 2 | Meanwhile, butter the split Panini, and spread with the Boursin/Roule. Add the corn kernels. |
| Step: 3 | When the Salmon is cooked, pull it apart with a fork, and add it to the sandwich. Add the olives (but leave the garlic behind - it was for flavouring the salmon only). |
| Step: 4 | Spread the Mustard on the second half of the Panini, and place it on top to finish the sandwich. Serve.
This can also be made with Sourdough Bread, but not regular sliced bread because the juices will make it soggy. |
