Introduction
I dont remember where I got this recipe,  probably from some  italian TV show.
I just found a post-it  with the recipe,  and the word China on it.
It doesn't sound really Chinese to me , so if someone knows the real origin let us know!
Anyway, they are pretty good!
Ingredients
1 stick butter
2 lbs peeled baby onions (cipolline)
1 pkg saffron (1/4 tsp)
1 cup white wine
1 sprig rosemary
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
Step: 1Dissolve saffron is a small quantity of lukewarm water. Set aside.
Melt the butter in a large casserole until golden.
Add onions and saute for two or three minutes.
Add rosemary leaves, adjust salt and pepper to taste, and add saffron and the white wine. Stir well, reduce heat to low and cook, covered until onions are tender (about half hour)
