Buttercream Frosting

Introduction
With all the commercial and canned frosting available, I think that good old fashioned buttercream has gone by the wayside. This is so quick to make and so good.
Ingredients
2 sticks softened butter
4 cups powdered_sugar
About 3 Tbsps milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla_extract
Pinch of salt

For chocolate buttercream, add 2 to 3 Tbsps unsweetened cocoa_powder to the powdered sugar .
Directions
Step: 1In a large bowl with an electric mixer, whip butter until light and fluffy. Add salt and one cup of the powdered_sugar. Beat smooth. Add 1 Tbsp milk , vanilla_extract and another cup of powdered_sugar. Beat until smooth. Add final cup of powdered_sugar and another Tbsp of milk if needed. Beat frosting on high speed, until light and fluffy, adding remaing milk if needed to creat a smooth, fluffy frosting.
