Introduction
These are so easy, I don't know a child that hasn't made Jam Tarts. Keri loved making these this afternoon. Just make sure to not roll the pastry too thin, and don't put too much jam in them.
Ingredients

2 Cups All_Purpose_Flour
1 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Shortening
1/2 Cup Cold Water
3 Tsp Sugar
1 1/2 cups Jam, any flavor

Directions
Step: 1Add the flour, salt, sugar and shortening to a food processor, and mix until  the shortening is all cut in and pieces are the size of small peas.. Add water and mix until a ball is formed.
Step: 2Chill the pastry.
Step: 3Grease a shallo muffin tin .  Roll the pastry thin, and cut circles out with a cookie cutter. Place the pastry rounds into the muffin tin, and press down. Add 2 teaspoons of any flavour jam to each round.
Step: 4Bake in a pre-heated oven on 200 C ( 375F) for 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
