Introduction
There have been a lot of searches lately for easy rootbeer floats. While it surprises me because nothing could be easier, I figured why not post a recipe.
Ingredients
1 chilled glass mug
1 large scoop vanilla ice cream
1 bottle of rootbeer, my favorites are IBC, Barq's or A&W
A splash of vanilla syrup for a real old fashioned fountain style soda
Directions
Step: 1Fill chilled mug about half full of rootbeer, tipping the glass as you pour to keep the head down. Add vanilla syrup if using and stir. Gently lower the scoop of ice cream into the glass. If it doesn't fizz up too much, add a little more rootbeer. Add a iced tea spoon, a straw and enjoy.
