Seven Minute Icing

In a glass bowl,combine salt and egg whites.Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed until whites form soft peaks when the beaters are lifted.
Gradually add sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, beating well after each addition, until all sugar is incorporated and mixture is smooth and glossy. Add corn syrup slowly, beating well after each addition until all is incorporated and  frosting forms soft shiny peaks. Fold in vanilla. Use this frosting immediately.

Note: Room temperature egg whites whip better.
All utensils must be free of any grease or oils or whites will not gain volume.
